Heavy Duty Large Girth Gear for Rotary Kiln and Ball Mill
Product Description
A girth gear (also called ring gear) is a large-diameter, heavy-duty gear assembly mounted on the shell of rotary kilns, ball mills, dryers, and other rotary equipment. It meshes with the pinion shaft to transmit driving torque and drive the cylinder to rotate smoothly under heavy load.

Functions
· Transmit high torque from the pinion shaft
· Drive the rotary kiln or ball mill to rotate continuously
· Support stable operation under heavy impact and fatigue load
· Ensure low noise and long service life
Materials
· High-strength alloy cast steel: ZG42CrMo, ZG35CrMo, ZG45Mn2
· High hardness, good toughness, excellent wear resistance
Features
· Cast or forged structure
· Precision machined and ground teeth
· High accuracy and good meshing performance
· Usually half or quarter split structure for easy installation
· Heat treated for high strength and durability
Applications
· Cement rotary kilns
· Ball mills, raw mills, coal mills
· Lime kilns, metallurgical kilns
· Dryers, rotary coolers, agglomerators
